TV Live Guide is a television guide that collects listings directly from satellite.

Where the data comes from

Most TV guides buy their data from intermediary providers. We do not: we decode the signal from Türksat 42°E and Hotbird 13°E and read the electronic programme guide (DVB EIT) the channels broadcast themselves. This way the data comes from the channel itself, with no interpreter in between.

What we do

Raw data alone is not enough: the same channel appears under different identities on different satellites, the same programme arrives from several feeds, and titles are polluted with category prefixes. Cleaning, merging and enriching this data is the real work.
